This Privacy Policy explains what information EstiNow collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Service described in our Terms of Service.
Account information: email address, and (if you sign up with a password) a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name/email from Google's sign-in flow.
Vehicle and damage information: photos or video stills of vehicle damage, VIN, year/make/model/trim, mileage, condition, fault codes, and any notes you provide, plus claim/insurance details you choose to enter (insurer, policy number, adjuster contact, etc.).
Payment information: handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe. We receive a payment status and limited metadata (e.g., a masked card summary) — we never receive or store your full card number, CVC, or expiration date on our own servers.
Usage and device information: IP address and basic device/browser identifiers, used for fraud prevention and abuse/rate-limiting on anonymous (guest) use.
Communications: if you contact us or submit a dispute/data-error report, we retain that correspondence to respond to you and improve the Service.
To generate your damage analysis and cost estimate (including sending your photos to our vision model and, where applicable, a part-cropping/grounding model, and to our vehicle-parts and VIN-decoding providers);
To process payments and manage subscriptions;
To create and secure your account, verify your email, and send transactional email (verification, password reset, receipts, notification of a completed technician review, billing-history reconciliation links);
To detect and prevent fraud and abuse (including IP/device-based rate limiting on anonymous use);
To respond to support requests and disputes; and
To improve the Service's accuracy, in aggregate or de-identified form.
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, strictly to provide the Service: Stripe (payments), our email provider (Resend and/or an SMTP provider you or we have configured, for transactional email), Google (only if you choose Google sign-in), a VIN-decoding service, and a parts-pricing vendor (used to source comparable part prices).
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your photos or vehicle information with insurers, employers, or any other third party except at your direction (for example, when you download and share your own PDF report), or where required by law.
We retain your account information and estimate history for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Photos and generated reports are retained as part of your estimate record unless you request deletion.
We use industry-standard measures (encrypted transport, access controls, hashed passwords, tokenized payment handling via Stripe) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting support@estinow.com. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights (for example, under GDPR or CCPA) to access, port, or object to certain processing of your data — contact us to exercise these rights and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account; see the Refund Policy for what happens to any period already paid for.
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect information from, anyone under 18.
Our servers and service providers may be located in a different country than you. By using the Service, you consent to your information being processed in those locations.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; we will update the effective date below when we do.
